SYMPTOMS

When you receive books by using the Receive Books function in Microsoft Office Accounting Professional, you receive the following error message:
Unexpected Action Update for DataTransferSubscriptionTable SubscriptionID=1
Row does not exist in SubscriptionTable.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the original accountant transfer is created in Accounting Express before you upgrade Accounting Express to Accounting Professional.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use one of the following methods.

Method 1

Send the books again in Accounting Professional. After the accountant finishes processing the books, receive the books again.

Note For this method to work, the accountant must receive a new instance of the books and then update the books.

Method 2

  1. Restore the books to an earlier version by using a backup.

    Notes
    • The backup must be created before you create the account transfer in Accounting Express.
    • The backup must be created before you upgrade Accounting Express to Accounting Professional.
  2. On the File Menu, point to Accountant Transfer, and then click Send Books.
  3. Complete the "Account Transfer: Send" wizard.
  4. On the File menu, point to Accountant Transfer, and then click Receive Books.
  5. Complete the "Account Transfer: Receive" wizard to receive the books that caused the error.
