Consider the following scenario. In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, you use the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for MQSeries 2.0 to send messages to an MQSeries queue that is installed on an MQSeries cluster. The cluster is configured to use active/passive mode. The active IBM MQSeries cluster node fails over to passive mode.
In this scenario, messages may remain in the BizTalkMsgBoxDb database. The BizTalk Adapter for MQSeries 2.0 may not send active messages to the MQSeries server as expected. When you view the messages in the BizTalk Health and Activity Tracking (HAT) tool, the message status is "Delivered, not consumed", and the service status is "Active".
However, new messages are sent to the MQSeries queues as expected.
