Modifications are not saved when you try to modify the budget cost details for an existing project in Project Portfolio Server 2006
When you try use a client computer to modify the budget cost
details for an existing project in Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Server
2006, the Budget Cost page is editable. Additionally, the
Update button is enabled. However, the modified budget cost
details are not saved when you open the project.
Note If you try to make the edit directly on the computer that is
running Project Portfolio Server 2006, your budget changes are saved
successfully.
This issue occurs because the locale on the client computer
does not match the locale on the computer that is running Project Portfolio
Server 2006. Project Portfolio Server 2006 does not support mismatched locales.
The locale on the client computer must match the locale on the
server.
To resolve this issue, make sure that the locale setting on
the client computer matches the locale setting on the computer that is running
Project Portfolio Server 2006.
For example, if Project Portfolio Server 2006 was installed on a server that has English locale settings, the client computer that is used to connect through Project Portfolio Web Access 2006 should also have English locale settings.
