Error message occurs when you repair, update, or start an Office 2003 program: "Error 2908. An internal error has occurred"
You receive the following error message in one of the Microsoft Office 2003 programs that are listed in the "Applies to" section:
Error 2908. An internal error has occurred
You receive this error message when you perform any one of the following tasks:
- Repair an Office 2003 program
- Install a software update
- Start an Office 2003 program
To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods:
