An error occurs when you try to run Windows Vista Setup in Windows 2000

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install Windows Vista on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, you receive the following error message when you try to load any storage driver:
Install Windows: setup.exe - Entry Point Not Found
Error: The Procedure Entry point LZCopy could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll

CAUSE

This issue occurs if you must provide a driver for a storage device that is required for Windows Vista Setup.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, you must install the full version of Windows Vista. Use the Windows Vista Setup DVD to start the computer, and then install Windows Vista, instead of running Windows Vista Setup in Windows 2000.

You cannot work around this issue if you have an upgrade version of Windows Vista.
