A query-based distribution group does not appear in the All Groups address list in Entourage 2004 for Mac
Consider the following scenario. You create a query-based distribution group (QDG) in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based domain. You use Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Mac to view the All Groups address list. In this scenario, the QDG does not appear in the All Groups address list.
Note The All Groups address list displays all the security and distribution groups.
QDG is a special kind of group, the membership of QDG will not be displayed even if you try to view a QDG in Microsoft Outlook or in Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access (OWA). Therefore, the QDG does not appear in the All Groups address list in Entourage 2004 for Mac.
To view the QDG in Entourage 2004 for Mac, select the top level of the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) account that is connected correctly to the global catalog server. For example, view the QDG in global address list (GAL). This will display the QDG as expected in Entourage 2004 for Mac, and the members of the QDG will receive the message that is sent to the QDG.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
