Error message when you try to start a 2007 Office program that was preinstalled on the computer: "You do not have a valid Microsoft Office 2007 license to use this application"
You have a computer that has a 2007 Microsoft Office programs preinstalled. When you start the 2007 Office program, you receive the following error message:
progam_name is configured, but you do not have a valid Microsoft Office 2007 license to use this application. You will not be able to make changes to your data in progam_name. To stop this message from appearing when you start progam_name, you will need to obtain a valid Microsoft Office 2007 license or remove progam_name.
This issue occurs if the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has not run the Oem12.bat file to complete the installation of the 2007 Office program. When this occurs, the licensing information is not reset. Additionally, you do not have full use of the 2007 Office program.
To resolve this issue, contact the computer manufacturer.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
