SYMPTOMS

In Windows Internet Explorer 7, you may receive an error message that resembles the following when you try to print a Microsoft Office document that appears in a frame:
The document in this frame cannot be printed as laid out.

This frame will be printed separately.
The document does not print as expected.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, either install the cumulative security update for Internet Explorer or the apply the solution that is appropriate for the operating system. For example, you can install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer 7. Or, if the computer is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, you can install Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Internet Explorer 7. This problem was first corrected in Windows Vista Service Pack 1.
