The Microsoft Office Accounting option is unavailable in UltraTax CS when you try to import a tax file that was exported from Accounting Professional or from Accounting Express

SYMPTOMS

When you try to import a tax file that was exported from Microsoft Office Accounting Professional or from Microsoft Office Accounting Express, the Microsoft Office Accounting option is unavailable in UltraTax CS.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the 2006 version of UltraTax CS does not contain a specific option for tax files from Accounting Professional or from Accounting Express.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, click Universal Business Computing Company Import (UBCC) when you import a tax file into UltraTax CS. UBCC is a file type.
