The "PostCreate Callout" event does not run as expected when you send a fax that uses a "PostCreate Callout" event in a campaign in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0
When you send a fax that uses a
PostCreate Callout event in a campaign in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the
PostCreate Callout event does not run as expected. This problem occurs when you use the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 software development kit (SDK) to create the fax.
To work around this problem, manually send the fax in the campaign in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open the campaign in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.
- On the File menu, click Print.
- On the File menu in the Preview window, click Print.
- On the General tab, click the fax, and then click Print.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
For more information, see the "PreCreate and PostCreate are Not Fired For Entities Created Through Bulk Operations" topic in the Sdkreadme.htm file in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 SDK. To obtain the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 SDK, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
