You cannot use SMS 2003 Remote Control to connect to a computer that is running Windows Vista or that is running a 64-bit version of Windows
You cannot use the Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 Remote Control feature to connect to a computer that is running Windows Vista or that is running a 64-bit version of Windows.
This issue occurs because SMS Remote Control will not physically or logically work on Windows Vista because of core operating system restrictions that do not enable service applications to create windows or to manipulate graphical user interfaces. These restrictions prohibit the SMS Remote Control executable, Wuser32.exe, from functioning in the Windows Vista environment.
Windows Vista will accept Remote Assistance invitations only from computers that run Windows Vista or later versions of Windows. If the computer that you are using to connect from runs Windows Vista or a later version of Windows, you can connect to another Windows Vista-based client by using Remote Assistance or Remote Desktop. If the computer from which you are connecting runs a version of Windows that is earlier than Windows Vista, Remote Desktop is the only available means to establish a connection.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
