Messages may contain Greek characters, and the time may be in the European format when you view the Incidents panel in Antigen 9.0 for Exchange

SYMPTOMS

When you view the Incidents panel in Microsoft Antigen 9.0 for Exchange, the incident messages may contain Greek characters. Additionally, the time may be in the European format.

This issue may occur even if the Regional and Language Options setting is set to English. Additionally, no error message is recorded in either the ProgramLog.txt log file or the AntigenHRLog.txt log file.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if the files for East Asian languages are installed on the operating system.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, uninstall the files for East Asian languages. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Control Panel, and then click Regional and Language Options.
  2. On the Languages tab, click to clear the Install files for East Asian languages check box.
  3. In the Remove Supplemental Language Support dialog box, click OK.
