The work panel and the shuttle navigator cannot be seen in the Antigen Administrator program on a Windows Vista-based computer

SYMPTOMS

When you try to start the Antigen Administrator program in Microsoft Antigen 9.0 for Exchange on a Windows Vista-based computer, the work panel and the shuttle navigator cannot be seen. The areas where the work panel and the shuttle navigator usually appear are black.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Antigen Administrator program is incompatible with Windows Vista.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, follow these steps:
  1. In Windows Vista, right-click the desktop, and then click Personalize.
  2. Click Windows Color and Appearance.
  3. In the Color Scheme list, click Windows Standard, and then click Apply.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
