Microsoft has released a service pack for Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 that contains fixes for Project Server 2003.
Project Server 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3) provides the latest updates to Project Server 2003. Project Server 2003 SP3 contains security improvements, stability improvements, and performance improvements. Some fixes that are included with Project Server 2003 SP3 were previously released in Project Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or in separate updates. Project Server 2003 SP3 combines the previously released fixes into one update.

Issues that were not previously documented in the Microsoft Knowledge Base
This service pack fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- You receive an error message when you try to build an OLAP cube
When you try to build an Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) cube on a computer that is running the Analysis server service (MSSQLServerOLAPService), the OLAP cube is not built. Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following error message: (-2146233088) Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The attribute key cannot be found.
- Resource availability details may not be available after you edit the resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool
Consider the following scenario. You view the availability of a resource in Microsoft Office Project Web Access. You edit the resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool (ERP). You save the changes and close the ERP. When you again view the availability of the same resource in PWA, the availability details for the resource may not be available or may from what you expect.
- Text areas of a status report do not appear on a Windows Vista-based computer
When you try to view a status report in Project Web Access on a Windows Vista-based computer, the text areas of the report do not appear.
