Transactions that have already been deposited in a bank account appear when you open the Deposit window in Accounting Professional, in Accounting Express, or in Small Business Accounting 2006
When you click
Make Deposit to open the Deposit window, transactions that have already been deposited in a bank account unexpectedly appear.
This problem occurs if the "Undeposited funds" system account is a bank account.
This problem occurs in the following products:
- Microsoft Office Accounting Professional
- Microsoft Office Accounting Express
- Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006
To resolve this problem, use one of the following methods.
Note Both methods require that you perform the Make Deposit process.
Method 1
Change the "Undeposited funds" system account to the
Undeposited Funds account. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the Company menu, click Preferences.
- Click the System Accounts tab.
- In the Undeposited funds list, click Undeposited Funds.
- Click OK.
Method 2
Set the transactions as deposited.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Under Banking, click Make Deposit.
- In the Deposit window, click to select the check boxes for the transactions that have already been deposited in a bank account.
- Click Save and Close.
If you click
Bank Account in the
Undeposited funds list, the bank balance will be affected. However, the transactions will not be deposited. Additionally, the balance of the checking account is not changed.
APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2007
- Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2007

edits), please consult a professional.
