When you use Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for MQSeries 2.0 to
receive messages from an IBM MQSeries server, BizTalk Server does not keep a
constant end-to-end latency for all messages. This problem occurs even if new
messages are posted to the MQSeries queue at a fast and constant rate. If you
post messages to an incoming MQSeries queue, BizTalk Server does not handle
some messages until the configured polling interval expires.
For
example, on the receive location, you set the
polling interval field to 1 (1 second) in the
MQSeries Transport
Properties page. You post messages to the incoming MQSeries queue every
0.2 seconds. However, BizTalk Server waits for 0.8 seconds before it handles some messages.
