SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for HL7 1.3, an Error event that resembles the following may be logged in the Application log when you use the Message Enrichment Tutorial:

Event ID: 5720

Description:
There was a failure executing the send pipeline: "BTAHL72XPipelines.BTAHL72XSendPipeline, BTAHL72XPipelines, Version=1.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" Source: "BTAHL7 2.X Assembler" Send Port: "send port" URI: "URI" Reason: Specified cast is not valid.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you use extended ASCII characters.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information
