A custom column is reordered incorrectly if you add a new item to the list after you upgrade to Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
Consider the following scenario. You install Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 in a server farm. Then, you upgrade to Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, and you install Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 on a single server. You visit a Web page that contains a list. The list contains a custom column. In this scenario, the custom column is reordered incorrectly if you add a new item to the list.
