SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 or in BizTalk Server 2006 R2, you have a BizTalk Server application. The receive locations of the BizTalk Server application are disabled and then enabled when you stop and then restart the BizTalk Server process. You stop and then restart the BizTalk Server process regularly. In this scenario, orphaned cache instances may build up in the Instances table and in the Hosts Queue tables of the BizTalkMsgBoxDb database. For example, orphaned cache instances may be built in the BizTalkServerApplicationQ and BizTalkServerIsolatedHostQ tables.
