When you use Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.1 or
Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3 with 2007 Message Pack to process
messages, MT240 messages incorrectly fail in schema validation. When this
problem occurs, you receive an error message that resembles the
following:
<?xml version="1.0"
encoding="utf-8"?><SWIFT_ERROR
MessageType="340"><XmlValidationError
ExceptionType="System.Xml.Schema.XmlSchemaException: The 'Year' element has an
invalid value according to its data type." LineNumber="1" LinePosition="2197"
SchemaName="http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/Solutions/FinancialServices/SWIFT/Category3/MT340#SWIFT_CATEGORY3_MT340_Interchange"
Severity="Error"><Message>Year for tag 14C must be in YYYY
Format.</Message></XmlValidationError></SWIFT_ERROR>
This problem occurs because of a bug in the MT340 message
schema.
