SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You install Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2007 for BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3. When you process message MT586 in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 by using Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3, a Business Rule Engine (BRE) validation error may occur. When this problem occurs, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
<SWIFT_ERROR MessageType="586"><BreValidationError MessageType="MT586" ErrorCode="E83"><ElementName Name="" /><SequenceName Name="" /><ElementValue Value="" /><RuleName Name="Validate_MT586" /><PolicyName Name="SWIFT_NetworkRule283_Policy" /><ConditionalRuleName RuleName="C2" /><ConditionalRuleNumber RuleNumber="Rule 283" /><ErrorMessage Message="" /></BreValidationError></SWIFT_ERROR>

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of a problem in BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2007.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix, you must have the following installed:
  • BizTalk Server 2006
  • BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3
  • BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2007

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this hotfix. However, you must restart Internet Information Services (IIS) and the host instance of BizTalk Server after you apply this hotfix.

Hotfix replacement information

This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.

File information

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
