Error message when you try to send an e-mail message that has a transaction document as an attachment in Accounting Express or in Accounting Professional: "Microsoft Office Accounting has encountered a problem and needs to close"
In
Microsoft Office Accounting Express or in Microsoft Office Accounting
Professional, you receive the following error message when you
try to send an e-mail message that has a transaction document as an attachment:
Microsoft Office Accounting has encountered a problem and
needs to close.
Also, the following error message is logged in the
Windows Error Reporting file:
Retrieving the COM class
factory for component with CLSID {nnnnn-nnnn-nnnn-nnnnn-nnnnnn} failed due to
the following error: 80080005
Note In this error message, the
nnnnn-nnnn-nnnn-nnnnn-nnnnnn placeholder is a placeholder for the class identifier.
For
example, this problem occurs when you try to send an e-mail message that has a customer invoice or a vendor
purchase order as an attachment.
This problem occurs because you do
not have permissions
to access Microsoft Office Outlook on the computer.
To resolve this problem, use one
of the following methods:
- Ask the system administrator to grant you permission to access Outlook.
- Log off the computer. Then, log on by using a user account that has permissions to access Outlook on the computer.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
