MS08-012: Description of the security update for Publisher 2000: February 12, 2008
Microsoft has released security bulletin MS08-012. The security bulletin contains all the relevant information about the security update for Microsoft Publisher 2000. This information includes file manifest information and deployment options.

Known issues with this security update
- You install MS08-012. When you click About Microsoft Publisher on the Help menu, SR-1 appears as the installed version instead of SP3.

You must have Microsoft Office 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) installed to apply this security update.

How to obtain the latest service pack for Office 2000
Removal information
After you install this security update, you cannot remove it. To revert to an earlier installation of Publisher 2000, remove Publisher 2000, and then reinstall Publisher 2000 by using the original CD.
You may see physical file version changes from versions 4.
x or 6.
x to version 9.
