SYMPTOMS

On a computer that is running Windows Server 2003, you use APIs in the Network Monitor 2.1 Software Development Kit (SDK) to capture packets in real-time mode. When you call the GetNPPBlobTable function together with a TAG_INTERFACE_TRANSMIT filter, the function fails and returns error code 3017 (NMERR_NO_MATCHING_NPPS).

Note This problem does not occur in Windows 2000.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information
