SYMPTOMS

Microsoft ActiveSync cannot synchronize a mailbox if the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 store contains a corrupted e-mail item. You can see the corrupted item in Microsoft Office Outlook and in Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access. Additionally, you may receive the following error message on the mobile device:
0X86000108
Note To view the error message, you may have to click View status and then click View Support Code on the Windows Mobile device.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
