The status watermark does not appear in the message body when you send an invoice by using the "Send in Message Body" e-mail option in Accounting Professional or in Accounting Express
You
send an invoice by using the "Send in Message Body" e-mail option in Microsoft Office
Accounting Professional or in Microsoft Office Accounting Express.
Then, a Microsoft Office Word document that contains the invoice in an e-mail message appears.
However, the status watermark does not appear in the
message body.
Note If an unpaid invoice is exported to Word, the status watermark is displayed
correctly as "Not Paid" in the
background.
This problem occurs because of a limitation in Word when you
send an invoice by using the "Send in Message Body" option.
To work
around this problem, send the invoice as a Word
attachment in an e-mail message. To do this, follow these steps:
- Start Accounting Professional or Accounting Express.
- Open the invoice that you tried to send.
- On the Actions menu, point to
E-mail Invoice, and then click As Word
Attachment.
- Select a template to export with the invoice, and then
click Select.
- Make sure that the contact information is correct in the
document.
- Click Send a Copy.
Then, the invoice is sent as a Word attachment. The status watermark correctly appears in the message.

Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
