Error message when you try to run a Web application that uses the window.external property in Internet Explorer 7: "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close"
When you try to run a Web application that uses the window.external property in Windows Internet Explorer 7, you may receive the following error message:
Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
This problem occurs even after you apply the update that is described in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 931324.
