The supported modes and the supported configurations of Microsoft BizTalk FileAct and InterAct Adapters for SWIFT 2.3 Service Pack 1
This article describes the supported modes and the supported configurations of Microsoft BizTalk FileAct and InterAct Adapters for SWIFT 2.3 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) supplies secure messaging services and interface software to wholesale financial entities.
SWIFTNet is a global financial messaging network for secure connectivity between institutions that participate in the financial services industry.
The FileAct adapter and the InterAct adapter for SWIFTNet connect Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 to the SWIFT Secure IP Network (SIPN) to transfer files.
The SIPN transfers messages and files over a secure private network that interconnects financial institutions, financial industry infrastructures, and customers.
The FileAct adapter and the InterAct adapter use the SWIFTNet Link (SNL) API to connect to the SIPN.
You use BizTalk FileAct and InterAct Adapters for SWIFT 2.3 SP1 to send files to SWIFTNet and to receive files from SWIFTNet. The following tables give the details of the different scenarios that have been tested for each protocol.

BizTalk FileAct and InterAct Adapters for SWIFT 2.3 SP1 is compliant with SWIFTAlliance Gateway (SAG) version 6.0 and with Remote API Host Adapter (RAHA) for SNL version 6.0.
