Consider the following scenario:
- You install hotfix 933870, hotfix 941214, or hotfix 941395
on a Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 primary site server or
on SMS 2003 secondary site servers.
- The SMS 2003 site server and the client computers are in a time
zone that uses daylight saving time.
- You configure a monthly recurring advertisement before
daylight saving time is in effect.
- You schedule the advertisement to run after daylight
saving time is in effect.
In this scenario, the advertisement runs one hour off schedule
for computers that have had recent time changes because of daylight saving
time.
Note Only monthly recurring advertisements are affected by this issue. Daily or weekly recurring advertisements are not affected.
This problem occurs because monthly recurring
advertisements do not support daylight saving time.
