On a computer that is running Windows Vista Service Pack 1 or Windows Server 2008, you may receive a Stop error message that resembles the following: Note Not all "0x00000050" Stop errors are caused by this problem. The issue occurs more frequently when BitLocker Drive Encryption is turned on.

This issue occurs because, during the shutdown process, memory manager tries to zero out all page files. However, memory manager incorrectly sets a wrong flag to the header of a Memory Descriptor List (MDL).This causes other drivers to be able to access the zeroed memory space.
