Nested attachments that are e-mail message (.msg) files are not counted as nested attachments in Forefront Security for SharePoint
Nested attachments that are e-mail message (.msg) files
are not counted as nested attachments in Microsoft Forefront Security for
SharePoint. Therefore, the count of the nested attachments does not exceed the limit that you set in the
Max Nested Attachment box in
General Options.
Additionally, the
nested attachments are not deleted by the Realtime Scan Job, by the Manual Scan Job, and by a quick scan as expected.
To resolve this problem, install Hotfix Rollup 1 for
Forefront Security for SharePoint with Service Pack 2.
Note You must install Forefront Security for SharePoint with Service
Pack 2 before you install Hotfix Rollup 1 for Forefront Security for SharePoint
with Service Pack 2.
