Consider the following scenario:
- You have some management groups in a tiered configuration
in a Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
environment.
- You create some connectors on the management groups, and
then you add the connectors to the tiers.
- After
the OpsMgr SDK Service restarts, the
management groups and connectors are reconnected.
In this scenario, the connection settings are configured incorrectly.
Therefore, you may encounter some unexpected behavior. For example, when you
call the
GetMonitoringAlerts or
GetMonitoringAlertsForTiers method, the connector instance of the local
management group does not return all alerts.
Additionally, the incorrect management groups are returned for these alerts.
