SYMPTOMS

Users cannot create a new variation of a page that they created in a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 site. Only users who have Full Control permissions can create a new variation of a page.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install hotfix rollup 959637. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, assign the users Full Control permissions to let them create a new variation of a page.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
