You try to add a new override of a monitor or of a rule in the Operations console in the Japanese version of System
Center Operations Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1). However, the
Override Properties dialog box does not display an option to
select a destination management pack in which to store the
override.

To extract the hotfix files that
are contained in this hotfix, follow these steps:
- Copy the
SystemCenterOperationsManager2007-SP1-KB959867-X86-X64-JA.msi file to either a
local folder or an available network shared folder.
- Run the
SystemCenterOperationsManager2007-SP1-KB959867-X86-X64-JA.msi file locally on
each applicable computer.
You can run the
SystemCenterOperationsManager2007-SP1-KB959867-X86-X64-JA.msi file from either
Windows Explorer or at a command prompt.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
To override a monitor, follow these steps:
- In the System Center Operations Manager 2007 Operations
console, click Authoring.
- In the Authoring pane, expand
Management Pack Objects, and then click
Monitors.
- In the Monitors pane, expand an object
type completely, and then click a monitor.
- On the Operations Manager toolbar, click
Overrides, and then point to Override the
Monitor. You can override this monitor for objects of a
specific type or for all objects in a group. After you select the object type or group of objects that you want to override, the Override Properties dialog box
appears. In this dialog box, you can view the default settings that are contained in this monitor.
You can then decide whether to override each setting that is contained in the
monitor.
Note If the Overrides button is not available, make
sure that you have selected a monitor and not a container object in the
Monitors pane. - Click to select the check box in the Override
column next to each setting that you want to override, and then click OK.
