Consider the following scenario:
- Hotfix 952939 is installed on a Systems Management Server
2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3) site server.
- Hotfix 941214 or hotfix 941395 is installed on this site
server.
- A monthly-by-Weekday recurring advertisement is configured
to run after the first Sunday in November.
In this scenario, the trigger for the advertisement skips
November. The next occurrence is in December.
Additionally,
the Software Metering Agent generates multiple files when Software Metering
Agent is triggered by the scheduler. The following information is logged in
the Scheduler.log file:

This
problem occurs because of a miscalculation of the next occurrence time during the
daylight saving time.
This problem occurs because the daylight saving time change
is not considered correctly when you schedule the next occurrence of the
advertisement.
