No templates are available in the Manage Microsoft Word Templates dialog box in Microsoft Office Accounting Professional or in Microsoft Office Accounting Express
In Microsoft Office Accounting Professional or in Microsoft Office Accounting Express, after you click
Manage Word Templates on the
Company menu, the
Customers menu, or the
Vendors menu, there are no preformed templates available for modification in the
Manage Microsoft Word Templates dialog box. Therefore, you have to create a new template.
To resolve the problem, reinstall or repair Accounting Professional or Accounting Express. To do this, use one of the following methods:
Method 1
Insert the original installation CD into your drive, and then either reinstall or repair the installation.
Method 2
Double-click the .exe installation file that you downloaded to reinstall or repair the installation.
Method 3
Copy the templates folder from a computer that has templates to the computer that does not have templates. By default, the templates are stored in the following locations:
- In Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2007 or in Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2007
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Templates\Office Accounting 2007\Templates
- In Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2008 or in Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2008:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Templates\Office Accounting 2008\Templates
- In Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2009 or in Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2009:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Templates\Office Accounting 2009\Templates
