This article
describes the Microsoft Office Project 2007 issues that are fixed in the
Project 2007 hotfix package that is dated February 24,
2009.
This article describes the following items about the hotfix package:
- The issues that the hotfix package fixes.

package.
- Whether you must restart the computer after you install
the hotfix package.
- Whether the hotfix package is replaced by any other
hotfix packages.

- The files that the hotfix package contains.
This hotfix fixes the
following issues that are not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge
Base article:
- In Project Server 2007, you inactivate and then delete a
resource from the Enterprise Resource Pool (ERP). When you open a project that
contains the resource, the resource is changed to both an inactive enterprise
resource and a local resource.
- A milestone task that has a cost resource assigned loses
the cost data when you update a different task in the plan.
- The duration calculation for work that is entered on
nonworking time is not calculated as expected.
- After a resource updates a task in Project Web Access (PWA)
and submits the update, the task update is submitted to a project manager other
than the designated status manager.
- The Timephased data total is calculated incorrectly when
you apply a grouping to the Resource Usage view.
- In some situation, the finish date of a task may be changed
unexpectedly after you enter actual cost.
- It may take a long time to save projects. This causes
CPU spikes on SQL Server.
- The budget work is not rolled up on the right side pane
when you group by any custom field in the Resource usage view.
Note The budget work is rolled up on the left side pane.
- When you open a plan that has some resources assigned, the
remaining work on the summary task on the Resource Usage view is not updated
correctly. If you open other plans that also have these resources assigned, the
remaining work is updated correctly.
- Project Professional crashes when you expand a subplan in a
master plan that is opened from the server. This issue may be caused by a
custom calendar.
