When the Active Directory Auto Agent Assignment feature of
System Center Operations Manager 2007 is enabled, event 11470 is logged every
hour on the Root Management Server. This symptom occurs because the
<
Server>_PrimarySG_<
number>
security group is repopulated when Active Directory is requeried.
If
the list of computers from Active Directory has not changed since the last
query, the group should not be repopulated. However, if the number of computers
that is returned by the LDAP query from Active Directory exceeds 1500, the
security group will be repopulated.
System Center Operations Manager
2007 event 11470 resembles the following:
Source: Health
Service Modules
Category: None
Type: Informational
Event ID:
11470
Description: AD Assignment module successfully added N computers to
SecurityGroup
<server>_PrimarySG_<number>
in domain <domain_name> since the result of
the assignment LDAP query has changed.
