This article describes the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 issues that are fixed in the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 hotfix package that is dated April 28, 2009.

INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • In non-English Web sites, the language column does not default to the current Web language.
  • In the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 English version with German Language Pack, the Location setting in Calendar items is translated as "Speicherort." It should be "Ort."
  • 969662  (http://kbalertz.com/Feedback.aspx?kbNumber=969662/ ) Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 does not support the Irish and Welsh locales
  • 969391  (http://kbalertz.com/Feedback.aspx?kbNumber=969391/ ) The "Show Quoted Messages" link and the "Hide Quoted Messages" link are translated incorrectly in the Spanish version of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
  • 969392  (http://kbalertz.com/Feedback.aspx?kbNumber=969392/ ) "Threaded" is translated incorrectly in the Spanish version of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
