Known issues with this security update
- In some scenarios, you may be offered this security update by Windows Update or by Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) server even though you have installed the latest Office service pack that is listed in the "Non-Affected Software" section of the bulletin.
Note
The system will remain protected whether you choose to install the update or to remain at your current Service Pack level.
If you are offered this security update, refer to the "Affected and Non-Affected Software" section of the security bulletin to determine whether your service pack is affected. If your service pack is listed in the "Non-Affected Software" section of the security bulletin, you do not have to install this security update.
This update also includes all non-security hotfixes that have been applied to the updated files since the 2007 Microsoft Office System Service Pack 2 was released.
