Error message when you use the location option to filter the custom audit reports in Office SharePoint Server 2007: "Report contains no data"
Consider the following scenario:
- In Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, you try to
filter the custom audit reports by using the location option on the
_layouts/Reporting.aspx page.
- You specify a list name on the location
option on the custom report.
In this scenario, the report does not show any event that is related
to permission modifications. Additionally, you receive the following error
message:
To work around this issue, page through the audit entries
2000 at a time. Then, look for the URL in the EventData column. You can save
the data as an XML file.
Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
in the "Applies to" section.
