Symptom



When performing content deployment, import phase fails and you see the following information:

 

ERROR MESSAGE:

"The trial period for this product has expired."

 

In the application log.

Cause



McAfee PortalShield truncates the PATH variable using Windows and CRT calls.

Resolution



To resolve this issue, follow these steps:



1.     Uninstall McAfee.

2.     McAfee has a fix on their website: https://knowledge.mcafee.com/article/255/615221_f.SAL_Public.html (https://knowledge.mcafee.com/article/255/615221_f.SAL_Public.html)
