Consider the following scenario:
- You have a query in a managed application that returns a result set of multiple columns.
- One column generates invalid data in the result set. This column is not the last column in the result set.
- You run this query in SQL Server Compact 3.5.
In this scenario, you do not receive an error message. Instead, you receive an incorrect value for this column. However, if the column that generates invalid data is the last column or the only column in the result set, you receive the expected error message.
Note This problem also occurs in SQL Server Compact 3.5 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
