Symptom



After System Center Operations Manager 2007 is upgraded to R2, the console may not load and may display the following error message:

Cause

This issue can occur if a third-party Management Pack that is not compatible with R2 is installed prior to the upgrade.

Resolution

Uninstall the Operations Manager 2007 version of the third-party product installed locally on this machine, then upgrade to Operations Manager 2007 R2 Operations Console and install the Operations Manager 2007 R2 version of the third-party product.
