Indexes are corrupted if you configure SharePoint Server 2007 as a query server to crawl content and to serve queries

You configure Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 as a query server to crawl lots of content and to serve queries. However, sometimes the indexes on the query server are corrupted. Therefore, the query server stops serving queries and crawls are blocked. Additionally, the search service on other query servers crashes.
