When you run a search in a custom scope in SharePoint Server 2007, no result is returned for a multiple value lookup field

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, you create a custom scope. A rule of the scope contains a property whose value is based on the value of a multiple value lookup field. When you run a search in the scope, no result is returned for the multiple value lookup field.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply the following two updates:
