INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

  • An inactive resource is assigned to a task that is 100 percent completed. When you open an enterprise project that contains the inactive resource in Project 2007, you receive the following incorrect message:
This project has inactive enterprise resources with remaining work. Inactive enterprise resources such as: resource name have remaining work in the project. Inactive resources will be unable to report status so their remaining work should be assigned to active resources.
Note This message is more likely to appear if the Load summary resource assignments check box is selected in the Login dialog box.
  • Consider the following scenario. You apply 2007 Microsoft Office suite Service Pack 2. In Project 2007, you check out the enterprise global template. Then you try to edit a view in the project plan. In this scenario, the view to be edited differs from the one that you selected in the view list.

Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back. Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what didn't.

Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry edits), please consult a professional.

You are running a split environment. If you are running Project pro 2007 then you are running part of office 2007.
