No Presence icon when you group list items in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Group By feature of a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 list, you can see the user name in a list item. However, you cannot see the Presence icon any longer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, apply the following hotfix:
