Error message when you save or submit more than 100 updated tasks in Project Server 2007: "Your updates were not saved because of the following reasons: General error: An invalid value was passed to Project Server"

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office Project Server 2007, you update more than 100 tasks. When you try to save or submit those updated tasks, you receive the following error message on the My Tasks page:

Your updates were not saved because of the following reasons:
General error: An invalid value was passed to Project Server (Use this error information along with other errors to find out the cause of the problem.)

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply the following hotfix:
