Prerequisites

You must have the .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 or the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed on the following operating systems:

• Windows Server 2003 SP2
• Windows XP SP2
• Windows XP SP3

To install this update, you must have Windows Installer 3.1 or higher installed on the computer. To obtain the latest version of Windows Installer, visit the following Microsoft website:

Restart requirement

You may have to restart the computer if the affected files are being used or are locked. To reduce the probability of a restart, you should close all applications before you install the update.
